Helichrysum Essential Oil (Africa) - 5 ml and 15 ml
Botanical Name: Helichrysum splendidum
In traditional Mediterranean medicine practices that have been using helichrysum oil for centuries, its flowers and leaves are the most useful parts of the plant. They are prepared in different ways to treat conditions including:
- Skin inflammation
- Wound healing
- Indigestion and Acid Reflux
- Liver diseases
- Gallbladder disorders
- Inflammation of the muscles and joints
- Stomach aches
Aromatic Summary / Note / Strength of Aroma: A middle note with a medium aroma, they have been described as having a scent between burnt sugar and a floral mint.
Blends With: Chamomile, Clary Sage, Clove Bud, Lavender, Rose, and any of the oils from the citrus oil family.
Cautions: Dilute before use; for external use only. May cause skin irritation in some individuals; a skin test is recommended prior to use. Contact with eyes should be avoided. This product should not be used by anyone who has broken, irritated or sensitive skin. Do not use if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, or under the care of a medical practitioner unless advised by your doctor.
For occasional use only up to one time per day. Use in aromatherapy or dilute:
1% = 1 drop per teaspoon of carrier oil (5 ml) or 5-6 drops per ounce.
