Botanical Name: Thymus mastichina

Thymus mastichina is not a true marjoram and is in fact a species of thyme; reminiscent of eucalyptus, it's chemically different to sweet marjoram. It's commonly known as Wild Marjoram, Spanish Marjoram and Mastic Thyme. A few drops can be put in a vaporizer before bed, and a few drops can be added to a hot bath (with an emollient) at the first signs of a cold. Cautions: Dilute before use; for external use only. Do not use on children as it may cause skin irritation in some individuals; a skin test is recommended prior to use. Contact with eyes should be avoided. This product should not be used by anyone who has broken, irritated or sensitive skin. Do not use if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, or under the care of a medical practitioner unless advised by your doctor. 

For occasional use only up to one time per day. Use in aromatherapy or dilute:

1% = 1 drop per teaspoon of carrier oil (5 ml) or 5-6 drops per ounce.
