Aromatic Summary / Note / Strength of Aroma: A top note with a strong aroma, Star Anise has a scent similar to Licorice and Aniseed, but stronger.
Blends With: Lavender, Pine, Orange, Rosewood, Clove, Cinnamon.
Cautions: Dilute before use; for external use only. This oil may form crystals during transit or storage. Gentle warming in a hot water bath and stirring may be required. May cause skin irritation in some individuals; a skin test is recommended prior to use. Contact with eyes should be avoided. This product should not be used by anyone who has broken, irritated or sensitive skin. Do not use if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, or under the care of a medical practitioner unless advised by your doctor.
For occasional use only up to one time per day. Use in aromatherapy or dilute:
1% = 1 drop per teaspoon of carrier oil (5 ml) or 5-6 drops per ounce.
