Oregano is a favorite cooking spice with potent antioxidants, but it can also perform as a strong body cleansing agent. Not to be confused with Oil of Oregano, which can be ingested daily, the essential oil form is a valuable asset to the medicine cabinet as it has a broad range of health benefits.

Aromatic Summary / Note / Strength of Aroma: A middle note with a strong aroma, Oregano Essential Oil has a powerful, spicy, camphorous scent.
Blends With: Bergamot, Cedarwood, Chamomile, Cypress, Eucalyptus, Lavender, Rosemary, and Tea Tree.
Cautions: Dilute before use; for external use only. Recommend avoid using during pregnancy. May cause skin irritation in some individuals; a skin test is recommended prior to use. Contact with eyes should be avoided. This product should not be used by anyone who has broken, irritated or sensitive skin. Do not use if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, or under the care of a medical practitioner unless advised by your doctor.
This oil WILL inhibit blood clotting; consult your physician prior to use if you are being treated for the following:
- you are on blood thinners, such as coumadin (warfarin)
- you have hemophilia or other bleeding disorders
- you are prone to bloody noses
- you are going to have surgery
For occasional use only up to one time per day. Use in aromatherapy or dilute:
1% = 1 drop per teaspoon of carrier oil (5 ml) or 5-6 drops per ounce.
