Cranberry Seed Oil - 30 ml (w glass dropper)
Botanical Name: Vaccinium Macrocarpon
Not only is Cranberry Seed Oil beneficial for your skin in so many ways, it’s also beneficial to your body and is safe for ingestion.
Cranberry seed oil is prepared using a proprietary cold press process that uses no solvents or chemicals. This oil is an excellent source of dietary Alpha-linolenic acid and linoleic acid. It has a high balanced Omega 3:6 ratio, and provides a significant level of natural antioxidants including phenolic compounds and tocopherols. Cranberry seed oil has also shown potential to reduce human low-density lipoprotein (LDL) which aids in the prevention of heart disease. Traditional sources of omega-3 fatty acids are derived from cold-water species of fish, such as salmon, but salmon has the risk of contamination with heavy metals, PCB’s and dioxins. It is also well-suited for vegetarians or vegans.
Cranberry Seed Oil is considered a natural sun protector; it’s an effective moisturizer as it has a broad spectrum UV-protectant and anti-inflammatory properties. It’s rich in Vitamin A and significantly high in Vitamin E, especially tocotrienols and tocopherols.
The high natural antioxidant content of this oil results in an ultra-stable product with a comparable shelf life to soybean and corn oils. Cranberry seed oil may also help to enhance the stability and improve or extend the shelf life of other oils.
