Method of Processing: Steam Distillation. The ginger root is macerated and distilled over high heat, from which the oil is extracted.

Aromatic Summary / Note / Strength of Aroma: A middle note with a medium aroma, Ginger Essential Oil has a warm, spicy, woody scent with a hint of lemon and pepper.
Blends With: Bergamot, Black Pepper, Cardamom, Orange, Sandalwood, Spearmint, Ylang-ylang.
Cautions: Dilute before use; for external use only. May cause skin irritation in some individuals; a skin test is recommended prior to use. Contact with eyes should be avoided. This product should not be used by anyone who has broken, irritated or sensitive skin. Do not use if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, or under the care of a medical practitioner unless advised by your doctor.
For nausea, diffuse two to three drops of ginger oil or apply one to two drops over the stomach with a carrier oil.
For occasional use only up to one time per day. Use in aromatherapy or dilute:
1% = 1 drop per teaspoon of carrier oil (5 ml) or 5-6 drops per ounce.
